After it was announced in January that Alber Elbaz would be collaborating with Lancôme, fashionistas and makeup fanatics have been counting down for it’s release
Creative Director of Lanvin, Alber Elbaz’s limited edition line for Lancôme is focused on all things eyes. This is apparent from the nine-piece range which includes only false lashes, eye shadow palettes and mascaras in different variations. Elbaz told Style.com, “I spend my time backstage at the Lanvin shows, and when I come out at the end, all I see are people’s eyes.” Eyes are something most people gravitate towards, so it’s understandable why Elbaz chose to focus on that part of the face.
Elbaz created four amazingly trendy designs that correspond to the company’s mascara names- Doll, Drama, Definicils and Star. Each design is a set of one of the best selling Lancôme mascaras and a new Hypnôse eye palette. With the cute pattern of colorful hearts (Doll), polka dots (Drama), stars (Star) or eyes (Definicils) on a pure white backdrop, these items are just as much of a fashion statement as they are amazing makeup products.
The mascaras and the eye palettes are both going for $51 each with the eyelashes for $35 and are sure to be sold out soon in most stores. But don’t fear these lust-worthy items are still available online at certain high end department stores so make sure you get yours now!
