Cameron Diaz has not only taken a stake in Pour La Victoire but has also taken on the position of Artistic Director
Fairly new to the world of fashion, having only done an endorsement with Tag Heuer, Cameron Diaz is ready for the long haul as artistic director of Pour La Victoire. Diaz has already made a financial commitment by owning an undisclosed stake in the brand and participating in PLV’s current advertising campaign. The current PLV campaign was shot by Terry Richardson and Diaz showed her dedication by being on set and vocal with the direction of the campaign.
Although many might have their doubts about Diaz as artistic director, in an exclusive interview with WWD, she ensures us that she will try her best and hope for the best. As the artistic director, Diaz will not only have a hand in the handbag and shoe collections, she will be a part of merchandising, marketing and advertising. With all of her celebrity connections, Diaz will definitely not have a hard time getting her fashion forward friends to tote around her collection, creating a great buzz for the brand.
Pour La Victoire handbags range from $200 to $500 and Diaz wants to make each handbag worth every penny by making them “sensible” with pockets and other functional details while still having a luxurious touch.
